April Lockhart is a born on July 4, 1995. As a seventh-grade student she began taking piano and guitar lessons. This ignited her passion for music writing. April Lockhart penned her first track, Different at the age 12 years old. At the age of 14 April, she spent a lot of time writing lyrics and perfecting her music ability. In the following months, she started taking writing excursions together with her dad in LA in addition to NY. April began also to incorporate additional topics that were related to of her friends dealing in the area of social pressure and teenage suicide as depicted in the song"Take" my Hand. Lockhart is a beauty and lifestyle influencer with a growing fan base. She works with popular brand Ilia in partnership, and is also a specialist in lifestyle. Since she was born without a left hand, Lockhart has a significant part to play in herself. It's however not the entire tale. "I do not want it to define my personal life. I'm not looking to only be recognized as an expert in disabilities. However, it doesn't affect my day-to-day routine. I continue to do the normal things and have adjusted to my disabilities. However, it's a component of me so I think that it's crucial to speak about. Lockhart's self-acceptance journey is one that will last an entire lifetime. She has been a source of inspiration in this regard. Still, she admits that she went through a few phases in her body, and felt uneasy in some instances to wear clothes that showed her arms. She is able to wear anything she likes, and happily shares pictures of her in these outfits. What makes self-love so appealing to her is the fact that it's not a place to go. The same is true for everybody regardless of degree of self-confidence. It is essential to be around people who can really understand the person you are.
